MIke whats up? I need to know how to get buddyboss to work on my sub blogs and keep a cohesive theme thruout. as of right now when people create a blog it gives them the option of picking from the themes i have installed and we only want to give them the access to a theme that actually works. the buddyboss theme when hooked up on a blog does not communicate with the “master blog” of the site and the nav buttons dont do anything. you have our ftp can you login and see whats up. What I want is to keep the theme the same for the sub blogs as the main site…help!!!
Unfortunately this is not very easy, as BuddyPress theme cannot be properly used on a non-BuddyPress blog, and BuddyPress cannot be installed on your sub-blogs and the main blog. The solution would be to create a stripped down BuddyBoss theme that is meant just for regular WordPress, which I may do some day, but not right now. That is why when you install default Buddypress theme, it just gives you TwentyTen (or TwentyEleven now) as the theme for your sub-blogs.
