I couldn’t find a post about the right sidebar being “fixed”. I wanted to use the right sidebar for advertising and other content information at least 300 pixel wide. Apparently, it kept shrinking anything on right side if someone want to make the window smaller. Any suggestions to make it more fixed like on left sidebar navigation.

@jedbarish the Boss theme is designed to be responsive. The site layout changes and adapts to a changing screen resolution. Having a fixed sidebar goes against everything responsive. With that being said our side bar is a percentage of the size of the screen. Having it anything different would create a mess of CSS fixes that I am not able to support because the theme was designed to be responsive. I hope you understand.

I would instead recommend you find an advertising plugin that will sit on the bottom of the screen and allow you to upload all sort of plugins. You may also find one that will overlap the right sidebar once you scroll down the page far enough. Basically giving the user to see the sidebar before the ad is presented. This is common on many news sites but I don’t know the names of any plugins that would do this. Good Luck.

How’s about making the sidebar sticky when we scroll the page?

@jedbarish there are simply too many variable for me to be able to support a sticky sidebar, this would need to be custom development.
