Live notifications comments & likes looping

Whenever I click on a like or comment live notification or click on a reply link (e.g. in the lightbox) a redirecting loop starts. I am using a redirecting plugin for a Facebook like user experience (BP Profile as Homepage) but deactivating doesn’t solve the problem. The redirecting plugin itself works great and I don’t really want to miss it. I am not aware that any other plugin could cause the issues as everything else is working normal. Could you please let me know whether that’s a bug or how to fix this. The earlier suggested code posted here for another user having similar issues doesn’t work in my case.

Did you guys find any answer to the redirect looping on the activity posts? It’s very similar to this problem here: https://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/strange-redirect-loop/

I tried deactivating all the redirecting or security plugins that could potentially cause this but without any success. For whatever reason all links going to activity/post/number etc are looping whenever you click on them, eg. activity links in live, notifications, email notifications, activity links in photos, etc. There’s something wrong of how the activity posts are working but they do still show up normally in newsfeed etc. Just when you click on them id redirects in a loop until the error finally pops up.I already send you some screenshots showing this.

I apologize for delayed response , try deactivating live notification plugin and check you still are getting error on single activity page.

Anve, thanks so much. – You mean the BD Desktop notification plugin, right? That was indeed the first culprit I had in mind when I first noticed the problem. I not only deactivated it but completely deleted it to be on the safe side (sometimes only deleting solves a problem). Unfortunately deleting this Buddypress desktop notification plugin didn’t change anything even on newly created activity links. But you are right, that was also my first guess but was unfortunately not the solution…

I have not heard anything from your developers so far. Is there any way to find out what the reason for this activity posts redirecting errors is? I attach again a screenshot. Deactivating Ginger, my cookie law pop-up plugin, didn’t resolve this. Thanks.
