Layout not working correctly

I have two main issues with the social learner theme where it differs from how the demo shows it.

First, the page title of the home page appears at the top of the page. I have tried everything I can think of to remove this but nothing seems to work. (screenshot one)

Second, and empty white rectangle appears at the bottom of every page between the main content and the footer. (screenshot two).

Please help me resolve these issues. Thanks

Steve, are you using the Front Page Template for your home page? I have that selected, and the page title doesn’t display.

My home page page is set to static front page. Is that what you mean?

No. On the edit screen for your homepage, look in the column on the right for the “Page Attributes” area. There, you’ll see 3 items: “Parent”, “Template” and “Order”. In the “Template” drop-down, select “Front Page Template” and click “Update”.

Click “view page” and you should now see your homepage without the title.
