Question
November 5, 2015 at 6:55 am #50713@tomastd“WP-Types Toolset Views” plugin (https://wp-types.com/) uses some “Content Templates” that disappear when you add the featured imaged to the post.
Those “content templates” are used to show some custom fields, related with front end CRED editor, so they are very important for user experience.
I have tested it on “Twenty Fifty” Theme and works fine.

November 9, 2015 at 10:32 am #51115@tomastdHi, did you check it? Do you need more info?
Thanks!November 10, 2015 at 12:18 pm #51226@
AnonymousHi @tomastd, We are using the same the_content() functions to display content area but cred plugin is created other custom meta values. You will need to create specific template file to display project like single-project.php and you can add corresponding functions to display those meta values..

PallaviNovember 10, 2015 at 1:23 pm #51249@tomastdMmmmm, ok, thanks!! But I’m not sure I’m capable of doing that.
Can you help me with it, please? or give me some hints to start? Please.
Thank you!
November 11, 2015 at 11:16 am #51342@tomastdPlease, How can I “create specific template file to display project like single-project.php and add corresponding functions to display those meta values”? Is it easy to do? I would be very grateful if I had some starting info.
The web is on-line, and it should be working as soon as possible.
Thanks!
November 11, 2015 at 11:42 am #51345@tomastdMay it happen Boss to be incompatible with onTheGo WP-Types plugin?
November 11, 2015 at 12:47 pm #51350@tomastdI have found this options in Content Templates settings.
“If Content Templates don’t work with your theme then you can enter the name of the function your theme uses here:”
Can it be solved using them? (See the attached screencapture)
Thank you.
November 12, 2015 at 1:50 am #51434@tomastdPlease, I need fast support on this. The topic was started on 5 November and the only answer I had was to cook it myself.
We have a public event in a week with 60 people. The site is already online. We need to know asap if we can solve this problem or BOSS is not the right theme for this project.
Hope to have a fast answer, Thanks.
November 12, 2015 at 2:02 am #51437@vapvarunHi @tomastd we have not tested with WP-Types, and for the function you have mentioned we are using the same the_content() function without any filter.
You can check content.php line 82<?php the_content( __( 'Continue reading <span class="meta-nav">→</span>', 'boss' ) ); ?>
you can try to use
the_content( __( 'Continue reading <span class="meta-nav">→</span>', 'boss' ) )
inside you setting input area.

Varun DubeyNovember 12, 2015 at 4:04 am #51459@tomastdThank you for your answer!
Didn’t work. You can see the output in the attached screencapture.I see something strange in all this. Everything works fine while the post has not a featured image. Can it be just a bug? Do you need login info for testing?
Please don’t let mewithout a solution. If I should change the theme, I have no problem, I understand it. But, please, let me know it before this weekend. I need to have a site totaly functional on monday.
By other side, WP-Types is a hughe plugin pack supported by the same company that WPML. Please, I would like to make an explicit request for compatibility support with it. I think it worths.
Sincerely, thank you very much!
November 22, 2015 at 4:39 pm #52459@tomastdHi Varun.
In WP-Types support forum they have scaled this compatibility issue to their “Tier 2”. Is it possible to put you two in contact?
The suport thread where they agree on contacting you is that one:
