We have the Boss theme with the Wall, Media & Global Search plugins. Users can @tag each other in updates etc. and the autocomplete dropdown comes up. The issue we are having though seems to be that the autocomplete is searching all the extended fields of the user profile even though we have most of them unchecked in Global Search settings. It only gets like the first 5 users and since we have extended profile fields with quite a bit of text in some, it doesn’t even return the user with the exact matching username because it isn’t in the first 5 results. Suggestions?
