PROBLEM SOLVED: Apparently during an update the theme didn’t recognize the ‘home page’ as the home page and was trying to load the latest blog posts (of which I have none so it showed up blank). Meanwhile, in the Dashboard’s Pages list, the Home Page was indeed designated correctly so there’s no indication that it was ‘dethroned’. Either way, I fixed it. Just posting this here in case it happens to anyone else. 🙂
