Excellent @tjchester that seems to have fixed the flashing problem!

I will note one thing that you guys should consider, which I’m seeing highlighted as a problem now that this is fixed and unfortunately I can’t do a screencast because I’m only seeing it on my phone.

On a single activity item page (for example, on an activity page accessed by a permalink, like when a user enters the site through an email notification where they are taken directly to the activity’s single page). The input box displays at the bottom of the screen, however, on phones, it gets covered by the keyboard. This is because the input box displays at the bottom of the screen and there is no more space to scroll down on the page. This doesn’t appear to be an issue on a main activity stream page, because there is often more space to scroll to bring the input box into view when the keyboard pops up, but on the single page, the auto-scroll/focus attempts to bring the input box up, but cannot because the page just can’t scroll any more.

Can you try it on your phone to see if you can replicate what I’m talking about? If need be, and since I already have it setup on my site, I can send you some login credentials and a permalink to try it on.
