I am replying to this problem as well. I was able to change the php5.ini file in the root of my site from off to on and still get this error. I have deleted the logo and uploaded it again. This is just weird that it worked just fine on another site I had that used version 3x of this template. I know that others are NOT having this problem. I am not going to delete everything and start over. That is just a PITA!
