Here is an interesting question. What if I wanted to take the slider code out of the front-page.php and put it in the header.php page with the slider being much smaller and to the right of the logo? Is this possible? Plus I would want to turn it completely off in the mobile pages. I do realize that I need to make a copy of both pages in the parent theme and add them to the child theme. Then do my changes.
