I have a similar problem but different.
– User registers.
– User gets email that says: “Thanks for registering! To complete the activation of your account please click the following link.”
– User clicks link and is taken to site and asked for activation key. Key is not given in email.
– Every attempt to login has the message: “ERROR: Your account has not been activated. Check your email for the activation link.”

I have S2 Member login plugin with BuddyBoss. I don’t know if the problem is with S2 Member, BuddyBoss or BuddyPress since I’m new to website creation and am still testing the site.

I deactivated S2 Member to see if that was the problem but then the site no longer allowed registration so I reactivated it (users can still register via OneAll Social Login plugin). The site is vicslab.com.
