The next release will come out some time next week, likely later in the week. This week has been very busy. The next release will have a bunch of bug fixes, and also will be the last version that needs to be manually downloaded and manually updated. It has a built in updater so users can (optionally) click update from the WP admin to update the theme, just like a free theme or plugin from the WP repo. Child themes will not do that of course, as you make your edits in there.

I’ll start documenting a better roadmap. Briefly, these are the primary things in the pipeline:

Change the way left/right mobile slide panels are coded. The new method will be cleaner, faster, and more compatible with mobile browsers. It will also be easier to expand to desktop with some code edits.
Finish separating all of the Wall+Photos code from the BuddyBoss theme code, primarily JavaScript stuff.
Separate the Wall+Photos into plugins
Release my next theme. I have it mostly planned out, but I’m not giving out the details just yet. Based on what people have asked for here, I think people will like it. It’s a fork of BuddyBoss so not a huge change code-wise if existing users decide they like it more.

Those are the big picture items. Of course there will be releases with bug fixes and minor feature updates in between as always.
