@JB did you find a solution to this? I was also trying to use BP Activity Privacy, but it does stop photos from showing up in users on photo area, so cannot use it.

I believe there are issues with rtMedia as well, so not sure where to turn now to get private site to be private and be able to use photos and such as well.

My goals are to allow the user to decide what is to be shared with “friends” and what is to be shared with all other logged in users (we will not be accessible to the public – so not worried about that).

Struggling with keeping friend to friend postings out of the “all members” activity area and thought that BP Activity Privacy was the solution to that, but seems not due to conflict.
